Sleeping Mavi H24in W40in (H61cm W102cm) Dated 28-8-95 Price £750 $1050 Acrylic on hardboard From a photo by Margaret, taken when her friend Mavi was sleeping off a late night on the lawn. It is a great candid shot. I liked the depth of Mavi's calm sleep. It is very moody. Perhaps I could have made more of it with colour but it seemed just right at the time. This is one of my favourite paintings. |
